Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop and consistently update a working knowledge of all company systems, product lines, customer programs and offerings.
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the Telemarketing Team.
  • Identify and evaluate all potential customers within the assigned sales rep. territories.
  • Accurately process customer transitions such as orders, quotes or returns.
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
  • Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction.
  • Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications.
  • Proactively recommend items needed by customer to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.
  • Communicate to the purchasing department unexpected increases or decreases in demand for products.
  • Travel in support of sales or training meetings, customer site visits or trade shows as required or requested.

Qualifications

College degree, or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate should be courteous with strong customer service orientation. Outdoor fishing and shooting sports experience a plus.

Candidate must have the ability to perform light hand activity work at a computer/telephone station in an office environment. Must have knowledge of basic computer operations. Position is primarily sedentary.
