Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Stock received inventory to primary pick-face, or to overstock location as necessary, in accordance with Big Rock Sports’ standard operating procedures and safety guidelines;
- Pick/pack merchandise for customer orders according to Big Rock Sports’ standard operating procedures;
- Determine method of shipment; prepare orders for shipping by placing the correct labels on each box, and by placing orders in the correct pallet location for the appropriate carrier;
- Maintain clean and orderly work area;
- Work with a state of the art carousel system for picking orders;
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with Big Rock Sports’ safety guidelines, including but not limited to: safe operation of all machinery, tools, and equipment, proper use of safety devices; maintain housekeeping standards.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
- Work around ammunition and firearms
- Ability to work in non-climate controlled environment (limited heat or air conditioning)
- Ability to work overtime, including occasional Saturdays
- Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial equipment certification
- Ability to operate a handheld and/or wrist RF scanner
- Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) skills
- Continuous standing, walking, stretching, reaching, bending, and stooping required
- Ability to continuously lift and/or move up to 30lbs; occasionally lift and/or move up to 70lbs
Flexible Schedules:
Full Time
- Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Monday through Friday from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm
Part Time
- Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 10:30 am
- Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm
