Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generates orders for products or services within designated product categories;
  • Builds sales with Big Rock Sports customers of record;
  • Execute promotional events for assigned customers;
  • Work with demand planning to forecast and build seasonal sales opportunities;
  • Assists with account coverage, inventory reviews, returns, and drop ship order inquiries;
  • Keys orders into system;
  • Prepares monthly report outlining customer information that has a potential impact on Big Rock Sports sales and service;
  • Attends/works customer events in the territory;
  • Must own and maintain a mode of transportation to properly work and travel within in their designated area of responsibility;
  • Must have a good understanding of the Sporting Goods Industry
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Capable of forming solutions with customers in all situations;
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Based in the Portland Metro area

 

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College degree or equivalent job experience preferred
  • Hunting and fishing industry and/or retail/wholesale experience preferred
