NEWPORT, N.C. — The 2011 Big Rock Sports® Southeast Dealer Show broke all previous attendance records with more than double the number of dealers that took part in 2010. The record-breaking crowd experienced the new expansion of the Southeast Dealer Show that for the first time featured a complete range of shooting sports, hunting and camping products in addition to the largest variety of fishing and marine products. Dealers also lined up to participate in the launch of Dealer ACCESS from Big Rock Sports and test-drive the game-changing ACCESS Ecommerce tool.
Held on September 7–8 at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort in Orlando, Florida, the Southeast Dealer Show featured 327 shooting, hunting, camping, fishing and marine vendors. Throughout the show, attendees met and networked with these manufacturing reps, plus other retailers and the entire team from Big Rock Sports.
Dealers leveraged exclusive show pricing, dealer-friendly dating terms and show and attendance specials. Hot Profit night was a standing-room only event where dealers eagerly took advantage of the best prices of the year.
The launch of Dealer ACCESS, a new resource that helps dealers navigate the complexity of operating in today's multi-channel retail environment, was one of the most popular events at the 2011 Southeast Dealer Show. Dealers who pre-registered for a one-on-one appointment got to experience ACCESS Ecommerce firsthand and learn how to set up their online storefront to serve their customers 24/7. Dealers who attended a one-on-one appointment or the Dealer ACCESS luncheon and signed up for ACCESS Ecommerce had their initial set-up fee waived.
