At Big Rock Sports, we understand that the health and welfare of our associates and their families directly impacts our business. That is why we offer to regular, full-time (30+ hours) associates a highly competitive and comprehensive benefits package.
Most benefits are available to eligible associates on the first of the month following 90 days of continuous service unless otherwise stated below.
Big Rock Sports pays the majority of the cost for employee coverage, however coverage is also available for spouses and/or eligible children.
Medical coverage also includes a prescription benefit. Co-pays vary depending on the drug.
Associates pay the cost of dental coverage. Two plans are available to choose from, one of which includes orthodontia. It is not necessary that associates carry our medical coverage in order to qualify for dental coverage.
Associates pay the cost of vision coverage. Coverage is available to associates and eligible dependents. The vision plan covers one full exam every 12 months, prescription glasses lenses every 12 months and frames every 24 months. A contact lens allowance is also available.
Flexible Spending Accounts (pre-tax) (FSAs)
FSAs are designed to allow the use of pre-tax dollars to pay for health and/or dependent child care expenses not covered by insurance.
Life/Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance
Big Rock Sports provides basic life/accidental death & dismemberment insurance at no cost to associates. Voluntary life insurance is available for purchase for associates and their spouses and/or eligible children.
Short-Term Disability/Long-Term Disability
Big Rock Sports provides short-term disability coverage at no cost to associates. Long-term disability coverage is available for purchase.
A 401(k) plan is available to eligible associates. Big Rock Sports offers an employer match after one year of employment. A Roth after-tax option is also available.
Big Rock Sports offers nine paid holidays for full-time associates. Paid personal leave and paid vacation are also available.
